3XC "third time's a charm"
Every story has a beginning.
Ours started with a white German Shepherd named Luna.
In 2006, Luna came home as a clearance puppy. There was no breeding program, no kennel, and certainly no idea of what the next twenty years would bring.
Her registered name was Proud 3rd Time's a Charm.
And from her came 3XC.
What began with one dog grew into more than two decades in the German Shepherd community—training, showing, competing, breeding, learning, building friendships, finding a mentor, and sharing life with dogs that would each leave their own mark on what 3XC would eventually become.
Luna was the catalyst.
Without her, 3XC simply wouldn't exist.

Our Story
One Dog Started It All
Luna introduced me to far more than the German Shepherd Dog. She opened the door to the dog world itself.
Together, we stepped into training and competition, including the 4-H show ring. What started as something to do with one very special dog became a passion that continued long after those first trips around the ring.
Over the years, that journey grew.
my mentor, Jen proud, is always willing to answer questions, I have made friendships through dogs, countless miles traveled, shows won and lost, lessons learned, litters raised, and some truly remarkable German Shepherds along the way.
Each dog has brought something different.
Each has taught me something.
And each has played a part in shaping 3XC.
Twenty years later, we're still learning. We're still showing. We're still training. And we're still completely fascinated by the German Shepherd Dog.
